Word of the Gay: "Two-Spirit"

"Two-Spirit"-This is a term to refer to third-gendered people.

Traditionally it referred to Native Americans who embraced both genders.

Today many Native Americans as well as others identify with this duality of masculine and feminine spirits within their bodies.

Once upon a time two spirited people were held in high esteem in some Native American tribes.

Native Americans had so many things right... Damned colonists.

The reason they lost a lot of respect in NA circles is because of Western Influence or I guess at that point say Eastern Influence. Which is just a shame. This is why they need funds to help rebuild the sacred and special place they have within Native American tribes.
